Alpha Katalyst, the Emerging Leaders Conference for Alpha Asia Pacific returns this year with a storm!
Happening from 1 February to 4 February 2018 in Changi Cove, Singapore, Katalyst is an event to identify, inspire, activate and send out Christian emerging leaders to be influential change agents in fulfilling God’s purpose in their lives, whether this be in the workplace, community, family unit, full-time ministry or for Alpha.
This year’s event will see more than 50 delegates, handpicked from countries around the region blessed by an assembly of distinguished keynote speakers such as Rev. Miles Toulmin, Richard Magnus, Evangeline Lee, Melinda Dwight and Joel Burden, just to name a few in the span of four days and three nights.
Rev. Miles Toulmin is the Executive Director of Alpha Asia Pacific and the Vicar of HTBB (Holy Trinity Bukit Bintang), an Anglican church in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
Adj Prof Judge, Richard Magnus is a jurist, regulator, author, lecturer, bioethicist, adjudicator, preacher, church planter, international negotiator, company chairman and Board Director, a family man. He loves his country Singapore and was awarded the Meritorious Service award for his loyal service; he and his household worship the Lord Jesus Christ.
Evangeline is an assistant general counsel at one of the largest investment banks in the world by assets. With a career spanning a decade, she has worked in Singapore, Hong Kong and London and is known to carry God’s presence into her workplace wherever she goes.
Melinda Dwight is the National Director of Alpha Australia and previously served as the Senior Pastor of the Imagine network of churches for 15 years. Under Melinda’s leadership Alpha Australia has been working towards the goal of serving all 13,000 churches in Australia and seeing 1,000,000 Alpha stories, as Australians are given the opportunity to explore Life, Faith & God.
Following Bible College, and two years as the University Pastor at Hope City Church in Sheffield, England, Pastor Joel along with his wife Emma, were sent out by their Senior Pastors to Kuala Lumpur to pioneer Hope City Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. Joel has a gift to raise and release leaders and is passionate about establishing congregations across South East Asia. These names are just a few of the many celebrated speakers that will be gracing the Alpha Katalyst event this year. The event will see the delegates undergo four days of conference sessions with the speakers, ministry time and Alpha workshops, each starting with sessions of powerful worship.
