Alpha Workplace

Many of us spend more waking hours at work than at home, yet we rarely explore life’s deepest questions with our colleagues. Workplace Alpha creates space for these conversations—turning ordinary lunch breaks into meaningful conversations about purpose and faith.

What does an Alpha Workplace session look like?

Connection

Whether over lunch in a conference room or joining a virtual huddle, every session of Alpha Workplace starts with a time of connection.

The Alpha videos are designed to inspire authentic conversations among colleagues who might not typically engage in substantive dialogue.

Conversation

A key element of Alpha Workplace is the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic in an honest and open environment and discuss in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say.

Alpha Workplace can be integrated easily into a regular working day.
It can be run in an hour during lunch or at the end of a work day.

A typical Alpha Workplace session could look something like this:

Guests arrive and mingle 5-10 min
Food + Video 25 min
Small group discussion 25-30 min

Earlier this year, I felt God asking me to run Alpha in my workplace. I didn’t have a team or know who to invite but I submitted everything to prayer. God started to bring me people and I have since run Alpha in my workplace, seeing my colleagues come to faith!

“I felt happy coming to Alpha. It’s where you can laugh and cry and nobody will judge you. Now I am a helper on Alpha and I started Alpha wondering ‘Why Jesus’, now I came to the conclusion, ‘Why Not’?”
